Historic Bentley snowflake photos for sale in US

Ten images of unprecedented snowflake crystal A U.S. farmer Wilson Bentley
began more than one hundred years sold in New York.
Bentley (1865-1931), credited with capturing the first images of
individual flakes in front of the camera. There are thousands of jewelry,
such as prints, no two alike.
The technique involves microscope microphotograph and bellows camera.
Caught pneumonia and died in a snowstorm a few weeks after the publication
of his book, Snow Crystals.
The sale of images, the crystal is a rare event, reports the Associated
Press, a news agency.
Art dealer from Chicago Carl Hammer sells them along with 16 winter scenes
Bentley antiques show at the American Folk Art Museum in New York.
It’s very beautiful, said Hammer.
There are gaps on the outer edges of that image and on paper, but the
images themselves are spectacular. Snowflake expert Kenneth G. Says
Libbrecht photos do not meet modern standards in that the first use of
equipment Bentley.
But he did so well that almost no one with snowflakes picture for nearly
100 years, tormented, said Libbrecht.
Bentley, also known as The Snowflake Man wrote in 1925: Under the
microscope, I found that snowflakes miracles of beauty and it seemed a
shame that this beauty should be seen and appreciated by d others.
Every crystal was a masterpiece of design, planning, and nobody ever
repeated. When a snowflake melted, that design was forever lost. Dr.
Libbrecht said the method of separating the image of the crystal has not
changed.
You can fall below the glass into something black or dark, and then you
can download it with a toothpick or a brush and put on a slide, he said.
